VCS cannot maintain your dual credit college records or obtain transcripts for you. Use the links to order transcripts from each college.

There are costs related to offering college credits on our high school campus, but VCHS is very diligent about keeping the costs to the minimum that is required to run the program – this is not designed to earn income for our school.  Parents and students will be notified if they are enrolled in a VCHS course that is eligible for dual credit.  You will receive registration and payment instructions during the enrollment season, typically the month of October for most courses. Our dual credit course fees range from $330-$495 depending on the college and the number of credits. Billing will be handled through your VCS parent portal account. Neglected payment will likely affect your enrollment for next year or graduation status(senior).

Use the Dual Credit Course Offering List in the above(link) to input the correct College to add Course Name and Units on the application form.

Please FILL OUT and SUBMIT the intent form(pink form) to your teacher by October 16, 2025.

• Make sure the forms are completed with accurate information. 
• Use the Dual Credit Course Offering List in the above (link) to select the correct College Course Name on your online application. 
• It's best that you keep a pic of the signed form. Do not email a pic to your teacher.

• Already have a CCU ID?  Log onto your account and register for the course you wish to take for dual credit. You must be enrolled in the corresponding VCHS course and instructor in order to enroll in the dual credit course.

• Do you need a CCU ID? Create an account and you will immediately receive your CCU student ID number at the end of the registration process along with a list of the courses you enrolled in.  Your student will also receive a confirmation email. 

• NOTE: In the registration, make sure you select "Valley Christian Schools, (San Jose)" and NOT "Valley Christian HS." The incorrect school will not have our course options and it will try to bill you through CCU.  
• Ignore the dual credit fee mentioned on the CCU website. Your $380/$430 (if LAB included) CCU dual credit fee per course, will be billed in November to your VCS Parent portal account.
• IMPORTANT!! Click to view "Courses Selected" and CHECKOUT to finish registration. You will receive a confirmation email from the CCU.

• Once you register for dual credit, fees will be added to your FACTS account in early November. To complete the enrollment process, log on to your parent portal and pay the fee by December 1, 2025.  
• Fee payment agreements are final as of October 16, 2025, and you are responsible for payment in full. Failure to make the payment could affect your enrollment for the next year or result in W/F on your college transcript.

• November 12, 2025, is the last date to drop dual credit at VCHS (MUST email your teacher AND dualcredit@vcs.net ). If you have paid the fees, you may request a refund.

  No refunds will be issued after this deadline.

Many colleges ask students to submit course syllabi!  VCHS does not keep your dual credit college records or obtain transcripts for you.  You are advised to save the following information:

The CCU Academy Scholarship is available to incoming CCU freshmen who are currently enrolled in CCU's Dual Credit Program at their high school or to high school students enrolled in CCU's Online Dual Enrollment Program. Recipients will receive a $1,250 annual award ($5,000 maximum up to eight semesters) to CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies.

Students must order official transcripts to be sent to their universities. CCU will not send transcripts unless students have placed an online order. Please do not order transcripts until 4 weeks after the completion of your course.  We advise you to check the “HOLD FOR GRADES” option to ensure your grade has officially recorded so a blank transcript is not sent.

Students MUST COMMIT to dual credit program first for this course. Once the Dual Credit Policy Agreement Form (STEP 2) is submitted to your teacher, SJSU will contact enrolled students separately.

Students may be able to withdraw from dual credit but will not be refunded after December 1, 2024.

• Please log in with the student's WARRIORLIFE email account. Click on the link above to access the Google form to register at Jessup University (Jessup) by October 16, 2025.
