How do we transform consumers to creators?

Learn all about the SAMR model for technology (iPad) Integration!!

I love iPads and sometimes it's very easy to only see the things we can get from it.

Do you want the iPad to be more than just a supplemental tool for a hardcover textbook?

Do you want to get your class excited about group projects and creating on the iPad?

Learn how to use technology in your classroom using the SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition.)  The use of this technology model in project based learning (PBL) will be covered in this session.  Come learn all about this helpful and realistic technology model and come get some real classroom examples on how to implement it.  This also may help you get some ideas on how to increase your participation and accountability in group collaboration projects.

Help student increase their overall content comprehension with PBL! These techniques can redefine their learning experience while increasing overall classroom involvement.

I am a sixth grade history teacher and my goal is to get 100% student centered and student directed projects with very little teacher intervention. So don't forget to bring your project based learning and assessment ideas to join in the open discussion. I would love to share some of my collaboration, project based, content based iPad applications that my students use. Come with some applications to share!

Blessings and see you then!
