Teacher burnout is a reality that has created a national teacher shortage. We will look at the factors leading to burnout, the warning signs of burnout, and consider ten steps that you can take towards a healthier life balance. Although there is no silver bullet that can be offered to attain a positive life balance, together we can look for small, continuous improvements that we can all make.

Attendees will be able to:

  1. Understand the issues facing all teachers, regardless of school or district
  2. Identify warning signs of burnout
  3. Evaluate ten steps that research shows to improve life balance
  4. Access additional life balance resources that are shared for further reflection
