Opportunity To Serve Valley Christian and Help One Child.

We are gearing up for Family Camp 2026, held at Redwood Christian Park from Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2. Family Camp will have the same fun-loving, Christ-centered energy, but the structure of the weekend is a little different. During adult main sessions and designated breakout times, volunteers and counselors will lead the kids + youth in a true “kids camp” experience. Outside of scheduled sessions, families will have time to enjoy camp together and volunteers are encouraged to help foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Our campers, children and teens who have experienced foster care or adoption, benefit so much from seeing familiar, friendly faces. As a Kids + Youth Camp Counselor, you’ll partner with a co-volunteer to lead a small group of 6–7 kids through:

· Spirit-Led Growth: Guiding 30-minute devotions and Bible lessons.

· High-Energy Fun: Activities, crafts, and games designed to foster deep connections.

· Faithful Mentorship: Modeling Christ’s love and providing "extra hands" for families during group sessions.

We have a few different ways volunteers can support us this year:

· Full-Time Counselor: Join us for the full weekend (Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2).

· Part-Time Support: If you can’t make the whole weekend, consider joining us as a Support Counselor for a few hours one one of the days.

Here is the volunteer and counselor application, if you could spread the word. Applicants 18 or older, they also need to complete the Mandated Reporter Training as required by the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.

We are praying for a weekend filled with restoration and joy for these families, and it truly wouldn't be the same without our dedicated volunteers.
