Opportunity To Serve: Santa Clara Valley County Parks- June 13
Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity to kick off the summer? Consider volunteering with us and supporting our annual Native Plant and Pollinator Day at Martial Cottle Park on Saturday June 13, 2026, from 7:45 am to 12:45 pm.
Volunteers who sign up will assist with:
- Setup and cleanup
- An information station
- Craft stations
- Guided walk assistance
- General event support
Additional assignments may include:
- Helping track attendance
- Monitoring the Quiet Zone or Caterpillar Corner (free play area)
- Monitoring the face painting line
Notes:
- Minimum age: 14
- Lunch will be provided
A bit about the event:
Native Plant and Pollinator Day celebrates National Pollinator Week. Guests will learn about the importance of pollinators and how native plants help them as they engage with crafts, activities, and information booths. There will be fun activities for all ages, including different types of painting, a free play area, an Earth Day Youth Art contest, informative talks hosted by the Master Gardeners, special crafts with Our City Forest, a coffee vendor, and more.
