And remember, we are not using X2vol this summer, so keep your hours and the details some place safe when we come back to school.
Summer Opportunity To Serve: Wesley United Methodist Church- June 4-7
We are looking for student volunteers to help at our Annual Rummage Sale on June 4-7th at the Wesley United Methodist Church in San Jose's Japantown. For over 60 years, the rummage sale has raised thousands of dollars for mission needs. With proceeds from the sale we have supported disaster and fire relief, organizations like Gum Moon Residence/Mary Elizabeth Inn in SF,
Brighter Hope for Youth & Children, food and clothing for the unhoused at St. James Park, and much more.
Volunteers are needed on donation sorting days June 4-6th and on June 7th, the day of the sale. A light lunch will be provided at noon on June 4-6th.
On the day of your shift please go to the student sign-in area.
Please bring a signed permission slip or email a copy to the address below.
