Major Differences Between Leukemia and Lymphoma:
- The medical definition of lymphoma is “any malignancy of the lymphoid tissue”, which inclues white blood cells, bone marrow, lymph nodes, etc.
- The medical definition of leukemia is known as “a progressive, malignant disease of the blood-forming organs, characterized by distorted proliferation and development of leukocytes and their precursors in the blood and bone marrow.” In other words, it is a malignancy of the organs that are responsible for creating blood in the body.

Symptomatic Differences:
Leukemia - mostly characterized by anemia, bone/joint pain, easy bruising/bleeding
Lymphoma - mostly characterized by painless swollen lymph nodes
