Warrior Wars giving this year will benefit the Pajama Program!
Recognizing that sleep is important for all children, The Pajama Program collects pajamas and books for children facing adversity. The program delivers Bedtime Basics, Sleep Health Education, and Caring Connections. We have an opportunity to help children in our community that is facing homelessness and poverty. During Warrior Wars you can bring NEW children's pajamas and books to the hallway in the High School office and place them in a box marked with your class name. (ie. Freshman) You will receive points for your team for Warrior Wars. Let's make this the biggest collection ever for the children in need in our community. (This does not count for community service hours, but does count for Warrior Wars.)
NOW, for the Community Service opportunity! On Friday, March 25 we will be sorting the books and Pajamas in M105 from 2:30-5:00 PM. If you would like to help you will receive 2 1/2 hours of community service hours. To be a part of this project please email Mr. Galleher (tgalleher@vcs.net) by Wednesday, March 23. The first 30 students will be able to help.
Go, Warriors, let's bring lots of pajamas and books and make sure they are new!
