Opportunity To Serve: Tutoring kids at CRYP We need your help!
Diversity Matters Club is working with the Cheyenne River Youth Project to provide ongoing tutoring OVER ZOOM to the Lakota kids on the Native American Cheyenne River reservation in South Dakota. We are recruiting high school students to tutor kids at the Cheyenne River Youth Project organization.
Due to the limited internet access, and time zone difference, the youth at CRYP have WiFi until 6pm PST on the weekdays only.
Want to be a tutor? Please fill out this google form. We will interview you, and match a Lakota youth for you to tutor.
Tutor qualifications:
- Have the passion to help youth.
- Able to commit 1 tutoring session ( 30-45 min) per week, and willing to prepare for it, and deliver good quality tutoring sessions each time.
- Indicate sufficient qualification of tutoring the subject of your choice.
Further assistance on how to tutor over zoom will be discussed during and after the interview.
