If you are interested in tutoring Reading Partners will be on campus tomorrow to give information and training in regard to their program for Community Service.  The meeting will take place at lunch in Room E206.  If you are interested email Mr. Galleher for more information, attend the information meeting tomorrow and read the description below.

Give back to your community by helping struggling readers in Silicon Valley! Reading Partners has a high need for volunteers this school year. Across Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, 780 students are waiting to be paired with a volunteer tutor who can commit to at least 1 hour per week through the end of the school year. As a volunteer tutor, you will work 1:1 with an elementary school student who is reading 6 months to 2.5 years below grade level. Reading Partners delivers a highly effective and evidence-based program that has helped thousands of children master the fundamental reading skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. Sessions are held on school campuses during and after school hours. Visit www.readingpartners.org/locations/silicon-valley, call (408) 945-5720, or reach out to volunteersv@readingpartners.org to learn how you can help children in your community become lifelong readers.
