If you are looking for a new service opportunity, Reading Partners is looking for tutors.  A representative is willing to come on campus to meet with you and your friends.  If you are interested email Mr. Galleher for more information and read the description below.

Give back to your community by helping struggling readers in Silicon Valley! Reading Partners has a high need for volunteers this school year. Across Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, 780 students are waiting to be paired with a volunteer tutor who can commit to at least 1 hour per week through the end of the school year. As a volunteer tutor, you will work 1:1 with an elementary school student who is reading 6 months to 2.5 years below grade level. Reading Partners delivers a highly effective and evidence-based program that has helped thousands of children master the fundamental reading skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. Sessions are held on school campuses during and after school hours. Visit www.readingpartners.org/locations/silicon-valley, call (408) 945-5720, or reach out to volunteersv@readingpartners.org to learn how you can help children in your community become lifelong readers.

Also, they are still looking for volunteers for Night To Shine, see the Christian Service page for more information.
