Christianity and Leadership

This course introduces students to a Biblical understanding of God and His desire to have a relationship with all people.  Questions such as, “Is Christ the only way to God?”, “Does the Bible speak to us today?”, and “Is all truth relative?” challenge students to examine cultural views of Christianity in order to develop an informed and personal view of the Christian faith. To understand the foundations of this faith, students will journey on a yearlong study of what God reveals in the Old Testament about who He is, what He is like, and what He has done. They will also study the scope of the Old Testament covenants revealing mankind’s salvation in Jesus Christ as the ultimate fulfillment of God’s unfolding plan of redemption.

Integrated into this year long course, students will learn and practice what it means to be an effective leader of themselves first, and then of others. Students will leave this course with confidence that with the help of the Holy Spirit in their lives, they are empowered to affect positive change for themselves and for the world around them.
