VCHS Opportunity To Serve: Healing Grove

Dia de Unidad is a partnership between Healing Grove Health Center and Madre-A-Madre, Kairos Church, Catedral de Fe and Alcance Victoria. This is the seventh annual event (previously named Dia de Paz). The event is hosted in the Washington-Guadalupe Community at Tamien Park, one of the lowest-income neighborhoods in Santa Clara County

.The focus of this event is on unity in our families, unity on our streets, and unity in our community.  We want to encourage families to work together and seek unity, both in their families and in our community, proactively encouraging unity against domestic violence, gang violence, and family breakdown.

There is a mandatory training video for each station.  These will be accessible through the volunteer signup process.
