Opportunity to Serve: La Mesa Verde Sacred Heart Community Services (Urban Garden Program)
On Saturday, Oct 7 La Mesa Verde we'll be having our Fall Plant Distribution, where members receive their fall and winter seedlings. We need lots of help to make this event happen -- especially in the days leading up to the event -- to label and organize over 2,000 seedlings.We have 3-afternoon shifts that might work for your students (it is fine if they need to come late):
- Wednesday, Oct 3 from 2-5 pm
- Thursday, Oct 4 from 2-5 pm
- Friday, Oct 5 from 3-6 pm
All volunteer shifts will be at Sacred Heart (1381 S First St). The only requirement is that students under 18 complete the attached document. The volunteer signup form is here - Questions Contact Clare Burke - clareb@sacredheartcs.org
