Opportunity to Serve: Saturday Night Alumni Event at Homecoming!

Pastor Steve Dang needs some students to help at the Homecoming Game at the Alumni booth.  Dinner will be included and you get to pass out swag to all the Alumni.  Time:  5:30-8:30 PM.  You can work the whole time or work a 30-minute shift.  Contact Mr. Galleher today if you are interested.  tgalleher@vcs.net

Opportunity to Serve:  Valley Christian Jr. High Math Tutor

Math homework club

Teacher – Mr. Yuen- Location – E200
Time: 3:15 to 4:15 Monday to Thursday; 2:45 to 3:45 Collaboration Day
This is a free tutoring service offered to all Junior High students in room E200. It is informal and students come in and leave at different times. Most students attend this to get help with their Math homework or to get ready for an upcoming test.

Time: 4A and 4B
4^th period

Standard Schedule – 1:40 to 3 p.m.
Chapel Schedule – 1:50 to 3 p.m.
Collaboration – 1:30 to 2:40
This is a study hall designed for students with accommodation. It is informal as well and during class time, if none of the students need help with Math they can work on homework from a different class.

 Opportunity to Serve: Rohi Christian Church- (Church Hours)

1) Pack and Move Weekend
   a) Saturday, October 9th (12PM-3PM) - We need volunteers to help us pack up loose items into boxes from the rooms all around the sanctuary and move stuff into the warehouse to get ready for the big move out of the building. 
   b) Sunday, October 10th (immediately following service at 11:30am until 4PM) - We need volunteers to help break down the sanctuary and finish moving items into the warehouse to be moved out on the day of the big move out of the building.
2) Move-In and Grand Opening Prep
     a) Saturday, October 16th (8am-1pm) - We will be unpacking any final boxes and setting up all rooms to be ready to go for opening day on October 17th. 
     b) Sunday, October 17th - We need volunteers who will be greeters and parking lot attendants to help us with ushering people in for our grand opening service from 9am - 11:30am.
