Science is a comprehensive survey course designed to help students connect
foundational science concepts with practical science skills. The curriculum
introduces key topics in biology, chemistry, and physics, providing a broad
understanding of scientific principles and concepts. The course emphasizes the
development of problem-solving and technological skills that are essential for
success in the 21st century. A significant portion of class time is dedicated
to student-centered laboratory exercises and hands-on activities that directly
relate to the lessons. Active participation in these laboratory exercises and
activities is a key component, as the course places a strong focus on
cultivating critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in real-world
