• Understand all requirements, discipline procedures and class information from the syllabus
• Identify their expectation, concerns, and goals for the new school year
• Apply Quizlet to review vocabulary and review important sentence structures
• Discuss Summer activities

Classroom Activities:

• Students will share about their summer activities and introduce to each other
• Devotional/Prayer:      emphasize the amazing things God did for us during the summer and pray that God prepares the heart of every student for the school year
• Icebreaker activities
• Introduce the syllabus and go over class rules and expectations
• Introduce to use Quizlet to review vocabulary and review important sentence structures Turn in Summer Assignment to earn extra Homework points. ( If you are a new student, you may do other extra work in the future  to earn the points as instructed by your teacher.）
• Talk about why you want to take Mandarin IV (H) this school year
