Dual Credit enrollment for San Jose State University (SJSU) for 2025-2026 will open on October 1, 2025.
SJSU has a different dual credit registration process. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.-
Please FILL OUT and SUBMIT the intent form(pink form) to your teacher by October 17th .
- Students need to submit a separate form for each teacher.
- Make sure the forms are completed with accurate information.
- Use the Dual Credit Course Offering List in the above (link) to select the correct College Course Name on your online application.
- Do not email a pic to your teacher. It's likely to get lost. However, It's best that you keep a pic of the signed form.

Students MUST COMMIT to dual credit program first for this course. Once the Dual Credit Policy Agreement Form (STEP 2) is submitted to your teacher, SJSU will contact enrolled students separately.
Students may be able to withdraw from dual credit but will not be refunded after December 1, 2024.

- Once you register for dual credit, fees will be added to your VCS parent portal account in early November for each fall and yearlong dual credit course you are eligible for. To complete enrollment, log into your parent portal and pay the fee by December 1, 2025.
- You are responsible for payment in full. Since the VCHS makes the payment to the colleges directly, your failure to pay the dual credit fee could affect your VCHS enrollment for next year or graduation status (senior).
- November 12, 2025, is the last date to drop dual credit at VCHS (MUST email your teacher AND dualcredit@vcs.net ). If you have paid the fees, you may request a refund. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.
