    • Dual Credit Spring enrollment for Colorado Christian University(CCU) for 2023-2024 is open.
      • The following courses through Colorado Christian University have both a fall and a spring course offering; British Literature, Speech & Debate, Honors Anatomy & Physiology, and AP US History. The fall and spring courses are completely separate and you may choose to enroll in one or both of them during each registration period.

      STEP 1: Enroll at CCU (Click this Dual Credit Registration link) URL

      • Do not use Safari internet browser to enroll

      • Already have a CCU ID?  Log onto your account and register for the course you wish to take for dual credit. You must be enrolled in the corresponding VCHS course and instructor in order to enroll in the dual credit course.
      • Do you need a CCU ID? Create an account and you will immediately receive your CCU student ID number at the end of the registration process along with a list of the courses you enrolled in.  Your student will also receive a confirmation email. 

      • NOTE: In the registration, make sure you select "Valley Christian Schools, (San Jose)" and NOT "Valley Christian HS." The incorrect school will not have our course options and it will try to bill you through CCU.  
      • Select LAB associated with your science courses.
      • Ignore the dual credit fee mentioned on the CCU website. Your $330CCU dual credit fee per course, will be billed in November to your VCS Parent portal account.
      • IMPORTANT!! Click to view "Courses Selected" and CHECKOUT to finish registration. You will receive a confirmation email from the CCU.

      STEP 2: Submit VCHS Intent Form for the Spring Registration (Click this link) File

      Please FILL OUT and SUBMIT the intent form(pink form) to your teacher by MARCH 15, 2024. 

      • Students need to submit a separate form for each teacher.
      • Make sure the forms are completed with accurate information. 
      • Use the Dual Credit Course Offering List in the above (link) to select the correct College Course Name on your online application. 

    • Payment

      • Once you register for dual credit, fees will be added to your VCS parent portal account in early November. To complete the enrollment process, log on to your parent portal and pay the fee by December 8, 2023.  
      • Fee payment agreements are final as of October 21, 2022, and you are responsible for payment in full. Failure to make the payment could affect your enrollment for the next year or result in W/F on your college transcript.

      Some colleges ask students to submit course syllabi!  VCHS does not keep your dual credit college records or obtain transcripts for you.  You are advised to save the following information:

      CCU Scholarship URL

      The CCU Academy Scholarship is available to incoming CCU freshmen who are currently enrolled in CCU's Dual Credit Program at their high school or to high school students enrolled in CCU's Online Dual Enrollment Program. Recipients will receive a $1,250 annual award ($5,000 maximum up to eight semesters) to CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies.

      Use this link view unofficial grades or order official transcripts.  Please click on link to order transcripts.  Please do not order transcripts until 6 weeks after the completion of your course.  We advise you to check the “HOLD FOR GRADES” option to ensure your grade has officially recorded so a blank transcript is not sent.
